Tomorrow marks a significant milestone for the MPHS Tigers as they journey to Belle Chasse, Louisiana, for their inaugural matches against Belle Chasse High School. The MPHS Women's Team (MPHSWT) will take the pitch at 2 PM, followed by the Men's Team (MPHSMT) at 4 PM. Both matches promise to deliver thrilling soccer action at the Belle Chasse High School field, located at 8346 Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037.
Cyruss Redd, head coach of the women's team, expressed his enthusiasm about the trip, stating, "Our team is young but immensely talented, and matches like these are pivotal for their development. Playing out-of-state allows us to expose our athletes to diverse styles of play, which is crucial for honing their skills and adaptability. It's also a fantastic opportunity for our juniors and seniors to gain visibility from college programs they wouldn't typically encounter."
Similarly, Jeramey Anderson, head coach of the men's team, shared his thoughts: "We are excited to take this step and face new challenges. Our players are eager to learn and grow, and playing against teams outside our usual circuit will only enhance their abilities. This experience is invaluable not only for their personal development but also for broadening their prospects at the collegiate level."
The MPHS Tigers look forward to showcasing their skills and gaining valuable experience against Belle Chasse High School, and they invite fans and supporters to join them in cheering for a victorious performance.
