This visit was part of the team’s continuing efforts to serve as role models and active contributors to the Moss Point community.

Jeremy Anderson, Head Coach of the Men’s Soccer Team, emphasized the importance of giving back:"At Moss Point, we believe our soccer team should be a vital asset to our community. It’s not just about winning games; it’s about giving back, building relationships, and setting an example. We want to show our kids that success isn’t measured only by the scoreboards, but by the impact we leave on others."

Team Captain Williams Valdez spoke about the responsibility the players feel to the younger generation:"As student-athletes, we have a responsibility to lead by example, both on and off the field. Our team is committed to showing young athletes — and all students in our district — that hard work, respect, and community service are just as important as athletic achievement."

Through efforts like today’s outreach event, the Moss Point High School Men’s Soccer Team continues to strengthen community ties and inspire the next generation to dream big — both on the field and beyond.
