Taronta is a native of Moss Point, MS, and an alumni of the great Moss Point High School where he played soccer and football. After high school, Taronta attended Pearl River Community College where he played soccer on scholarship. There he was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa honor society, won a State Championship in soccer, and most importantly, graduated with an associate degree. Now, he is attending "Thee" Jackson State University where he majors in accounting and will be graduating in December.

Taronta is a student of the game, and a natural leader with a passion to grow the sport. With over 5 years of experience, he intends to focus on defending, situational awareness, and decision making. Taronta is honored  the opportunity to assist in leading the Moss Point soccer program to new heights.
